First on my list is Robinson Cano.Cano might just be the most improved starter on the team from last year. His BA and SLG are up 50 points from last year, and he’s nearly doubled his home run total. Leumi (LUMI.TA), Israel's largest lender in terms of marketvalue and Hapoalim's chief rival, has already been awarded apension advisory licence along with smaller banks IsraelDiscount Bank (DSCT.TA) and Mizrahi Tefahot (MZTF.TA) Leumi and Hapoalim dominate the country's banking sector. Banks see pension advice as a way to replace revenue lost bybeing forced to divest their mutual funds and otherasset-management activities as part of reforms aimed atincreasing financial services competition. Like its peers, Hapoalim has been hit hard by a weakeningeconomy. Clal Finance Batucha analyst Yuval Ben-Zeev wrote in areport on Wednesday that he expects Hapoalim to soon issue aprofit warning for the fourth quarter.
